Travolta to Take the Stand Today in Extortion Case, Footage Could Be Damning to Defense

By LEE FERRAN | ABC News

As  actor John Travolta prepares to take the stand in the Bahamas today, a hidden-camera video could provide incriminating evidence in the case against two people accused of trying to blackmail the actor for $25 million for documents relating to the January death of his teenage son.

The video reportedly captures one of the defendants, paramedic Tarino Lightbourne, negotiating with Travolta’s lawyer, Michael McDermott, for a payoff to keep do-not-transfer documents signed by Travolta confidential, according to a report by People magazine. Near the end of the 44-minute tape, the pair reportedly settled on a price of $15 million.

    Enough already!

    Sharon Staader
Leave these poor people alone to greive, i saw footage of them going into and coming out of court and Kelly looks …well, Kelly looks like a mother who is greiving for her child, her autistic child, which in my eyes must be the worst thing in the world to have to go through,as they are so totally dependant and so very innocent. My heart breaks for the Travoltas and i wish them peace

Well, posting a news article is not bothering Travolta, to be honest. And people have questions and opinions like they do about everything else. I feel for the Travoltas, but I have questions and opinions like everyone else. I think John has come out and finally admitted his son was autistic. Good for him, and I hope he can now heal with time and help his family too.
