Tarzana, CA – Despite the drizzle, Hollywood showed up to support the ACT Today! 4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament at Braemar Country Club on Monday, May 17, 2010. The event, to benefit the Center for Autism and Related Disorders, raised over $60-thousand dollars to provide services for children with autism whose families can not afford the necessary treatments.
“Autism effects all of us, particularly children of color who often receive a late diagnosis or do not have access to treatments. C.A.R.D. is a world leader in treating children with Autism. I am happy to lend my support,” said Tina Marie Tyler
“We are so grateful to have the participation of such as advocates as Tina Marie Tyler and Joe Mantegna,” says Event Executive Producer Daphne Plump. “We are confident that their advocacy will help encourage others to join in the efforts.”
