Our story
The Autism News was created by John LeSieur and his innovative internet solutions company, People CD, Inc. John wanted to create a resource where parents affected by autism would be able to find reliable, accurate, and timely information, like:
- The most current and important news stories about autism spectrum subjects from around the world.
- Open discussion forums where parents are able to share their opinions and learn from others parent’s experiences.
- Meeting new friends within the community of parents touched by autism.
John and his team are always exploring ways to innovate & improve peoples lives, and this is just the beginning. We hope you enjoy your journey through The Autism News!

People CD offers distinct web browsers to children affected by autism through ZAC Browser; as well as to children and teenagers with typical development through Kidz CD.

Where do I send my questions and connect to the open forum?
Click here and select: The Autism News department. Add your name, and email address along with your question or contribution to our open discussion forum in the message area and click send. You will be notified via e-mail when your question is published in the autism news.
I would like to link exchange, how do I do that?
To request a link exchange with The Autism News, please click here and select “submit link” in the message box attach your link then add “Link exchange for The Autism News”. We will reply by e-mail to your request with our decision.

How do I use the translation feature?
The translation feature is made simple by Google Translate. Simply locate the “Web Page Translation” box near the top right of The Autism News web site, there you will find 2 drop down lists, the first one is the language of the text you would like to translate (most of the text are created in english) the second is the destination language then click the button “translate” – your content will be translated in the language that you have selected. We are pleased to have translation provided by Google translation – although we know Google Translation not a “perfect” translation tool, we believe that it is adequate to help a parent understand the meaning of the web site content. Also, since Google translation is a relatively new service and we anticipate that Google will be making enormous progress on the quality of the translation.
How do I use the navigation menu?
The symbol of the house in the upper left corner of the web site will provide you with the latest news & open discussions arranged by date from the newest to the oldest. If you click another menu choice (Latest news, Open Discussions, etc..) you will have access (by topic) to entries arranged from newest to oldest. Don’t hesitate to use our search box to quickly access the information.
How do I request removal of an article or it’s content?
Because we are not the author of the content, we always provide a direct link and full credit to each of our sources. Our objective is to provide the news from around the world to parents touched by autism. We are offering the information as a free service with the option to read it in other languages and let the readers share their opinions. If you think that we are using your article, pictures or any other content for which you own the copyright and don’t want to be shared on “the autism news” please contact us immediately. We will correct the situation in a timely matter. Simply click http://www.peoplecd.com/contact.php, select “The Autism News”, add your name, and e-mail address, then describe in the message box the URL of the article with your request of content removal. Once again, we are a free service connecting families affected by autism and share the latest news and provide them a way to read the news in more language options.
